Curses and Promises

My curse means nothing to you.
Words are written on the wall:
the new fashion of a speech.

My curses mean nothing to you
our dictionaries in hand
to recite the passages of meaning

The bonfire needs more wood,
raise the flames, roast the sky
roast marshmallows and

For a moment we consider eating the flesh of the dead.
